Old Abilities
- This ability got reworked into the current Lua error in Module:Ability_ID at line 61: Could not find Cargo data for "Vampiric Aura". in the 7.23 gameplay patch.
- Can be toggled on to make it only affect heroes. Treats creep-heroes as heroes.
- Stacks additively with other sources of lifesteal.
- The aura's buff lingers for 0.5 seconds.
- Affects invulnerable, but not hidden allies.
- The lifesteal particle effects do not appear when Wraith King is not visible to the enemy.
- This ability was reworked into the current Mortal Strike in the 7.07 gameplay patch.
- Increases attack damage by an average of 7.5%/15%/22.5%/30% against heroes and 15%/30%/45%/60% against creeps.
- Treats creep-heroes as creeps.
- The proc chances of multiple crit sources stack.
- If two sources of critical strike proc at the same time, the higher multiplier has priority.
- Unlike other critical strikes, this one also works against wards.
- Mortal Strike uses pseudo-random distribution.
- The sound and particles play upon start of the attack, not when the attack lands.
Wraith King passively gains a chance to deal bonus damage on an attack. When activated, Mortal Strike steals a percentage of the max health from the target hero, giving it to Skeleton King for the duration, and returning it after. While Mortal Strike is active, the passive component is disabled.

The power to crush a skull.
- The following Mortal Strike was reworked into this version in the 6.78 gameplay patch, and reverted back in 6.79.
- Unlike other critical strikes, this one also works against wards.
- The sound and particles play upon start of the attack, not when the attack lands.
- Does not affect the target's and Skeleton King's maximum health. It only drains health based on a percentage of the target's maximum health.
- Only the critical strike from Mortal Strike is disabled for the duration. Other sources of crit still fully work.
Skeleton King fires a sphere of hellfire at an enemy unit, dealing damage and stunning.

- Hellfire Blast travels at a speed of 1000.
