Merge All Pages?
Do we really need to have a separate page for each rune? How much information could we possibly give for each one? Wouldn't it make more sense to have all the information on one page and just add redirects? -Lancey 12:17, 16 September 2011 (CDT)

I'm pretty sure runes didn't replace old ones before
And I think this should be written in the text. Unfortunately I have no idea in which version this was changed. I have downloaded DotA 6.31 (or something pre 6.38, I don't remember) a week ago and there if you don't activate a rune, it will stay there forever.

Strategy notes?
This page could really do with some strategy notes for each type of rune, such as pointing out that a bounty rune is worth less than 2 CS and is generally not worth leaving lane to collect if you're a core hero, but they're a decent alternative if you need bottle charges, Suggestions on how to use illusion runes (Have them tank a jungle camp or a tower for you, use them to scout, show one in your lane so you can gank another), the importance of securing the river rune if you have a bottle on your team, and so on. 18:26, 30 May 2017 (UTC)

Unknown rune icon
There is an icon of a plain black block used to show rune spots with possible runes. This icon should be added to here and the minimap page. The header image could also be updated to use the unknown rune icon and bounty rune icon rather than dots. Prezombie (talk) 08:55, 7 July 2017 (UTC)
