Problem[]

Look through the changelog. Black Hole used to deal small damage at the outer edges and big damage towards the center. Why they still have 2 values in the files, I don't know. They were too lazy to remove it, probably. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 19:12, 13 June 2016 (UTC)

Editing problem with Enigma's Maledict[]

So now Enigma has two talents that technically increase his Maledict's damage. How do you write the edit to show it's total damage, now that the code requires two talents?

Accuracy of Note for Black Hole Pull Speed[]

The second note for Black Hole states that it pulls at a speed of 30, but the changelog patch history says that on 8 July 2011 the pull speed was fixed to be 40 instead of 60 and there is no other mention of the pull speed after that. Was there an undocumented change, was Valve's note for this change incorrect, or is the Wiki note incorrect? - AceFool (talk) 23:30, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Pull speed was reduced in 7.00, when it was changed from pulling in a straight line to spiraling. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 02:14, 22 April 2020 (UTC)

Black Hole spiral rate.[]

The main Black Hole has a pull rotate speed of 0.25 in the game files, while the outer Black Hole has a pull rotate speed of 0.1 in the game files, unsure what those numbers mean. Modfying them clearly changes how fast the units are spiraled. For example, setting the main Black Hole pull to 1 does not spiral units 1 full turn, instead it's more like 3/4s of the way, even when Black Hole doesn't pull units inwards (only spirals them). Anyone knows what these numbers mean or how they're translated to spiral speed?

It uses a polar equation to determine spiral speed. Not too important at the moment for notes, but I'll try to come back to it soon. Irismus (talk) 02:20, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
