Restoration manipulation refers to any form of amplification and reduction applied to health restoration (also known as heals), lifesteal, health regeneration, mana restoration, and mana regeneration.
Heal manipulation
Heal manipulation affects every ability that heals a unit. A list of healing abilities can be found here. Heal manipulation also affects lifesteal, so if an ability has both, heal amplification and lifesteal amplification, lifesteal is effectively amplified twice.
All sources of heal manipulation stack additively with each other. Heal manipulation with value less than -100% leads health loss. The health loss is not lethal.

Lifesteal manipulation
Lifesteal manipulation affects every ability that has lifesteal. This includes spell lifesteal. A list of lifesteal abilities can be found here.
Note that heal manipulation affects lifesteal sources as well, so if an ability provides heal manipulation and lifesteal manipulation, they effectively affect lifesteal twice. Since these are two separate mechanics, they stack multiplicatively with each other.
All sources of lifesteal manipulation stack additively with each other. Lifesteal manipulation with value less than -100% leads health loss. The health loss is not lethal.

Health regen manipulation affects explicitly the health regen value of affected units.
All sources of health regen manipulation stack additively with each other. Health regen manipulation with value less than -100% leads health degeneration. The health degeneration is not lethal.
