DotaCommentaries are a US based casting group, who provide professional in-depth analysis of high level and professional DotA games. In addition to providing commentary, the group also create learning content and guides, as well as other series revolving around the game. As of 2012 there are six main casters at DotACommentaries, with content being generated daily.
DotACommentaries.com was founded on April 4, 2010 by caster 'Luminous', designer 'Corelight', and webmaster 'Uareanoob' in order to create a website that would allow commentators to gain publicity, and support in the DotA Community. The duties of the website then expanded to include a forum for discussion, hosting tournaments, as well as attracting further talent.
DotA Series[]
In addition to casting games, DotACommentaries also creates various series for the purposes of learning and entertainment.
Pubtastic Adventures :Billed by many as the greatest pub series on earth, this POV show is hosted by caster BBallin purely for purposes of entertainment, hilarity, and awesomeness.
NSFF Tuesday :Name! Shame! Fame! Flame! Watch as e-Sports fanatic and theorycrafter XVRogue pours over and picks apart games of a not-so-pro level. Laugh, learn, and enjoy.
DotA Top5 :Host Luminous (and usually a super special guest) will bring you through their top 5 list of an aspect in DotA. With everything from meta-game shifts to ultimates, this in depth look into the game is both informative and hilarious.
Where is the Team? :Ever wanted to go pro? Catch the trials and tribulations of LD and co. as they struggle, stomp, and saunter their way through the magical world of competitive DotA.
Inactive Series[]
Learning with Lumi :Be dazzled as caster Luminous gives hints, tips, tricks, lessons, and advice on how YOU can improve your DotA game. Eventually evolved into the Monday portion of The DotA Show.
DotA Daily :DotA legends aren't born, they're made. From start to finish, here is the series that made Nebu1a into the DotA icon that he is today. As the name implies a daily cast/lesson/show/spectacle that stretched for over two hundred episodes, and was eventually discontinued to make way for something bigger and better. As of September 2012 there is still no news as to what will be replacing it.
DotA Challenge :Originated as a challenge from the DotA Weekly Show, and was ported as Thursday's event for the DotA show. Was eventually dropped.
Diamond.Bballin :A podcast featuring former staff member Diamond and caster Bballin. In it they discuss DotA, and virtually anything else that comes into their heads. Well received but discontinued after one episode.
The DotA Weekly Show :Host Luminous brings news and information from all around the dota community, nicely wrapped in one neat package, also originally included a mechanics section at the end of each segment. Elements were eventually merged into the DotA show.

ScreenguardGuy is the enthusiastic, self-proclaimed, 'handsome' member of DotA Commentaries. He provides analysis of exclusively DotA 1 games, and commentates DotA in part for entertainment and education.
There are those who seek him in legends, tales of a hero who wanders the earth with his mighty DotA knowledge, correcting the misplays of others so that they too may make the journey into the higher tiers of matchmaking. Some whisper that he is but a myth, though his youtube channel and frequent updates suggest otherwise.
Fun, fantastic, the original woman caster; Diamond is dedicated to bringing fun casting and laugh to the game. She is common in the DotA 2 and DotA 1 scene.
Hilarious, loveable, caster from the East. Found his calling in DotACommentaries and made funny, artistic videos on YouTube. His main calling was in the DotA 1 scene.
Pubstar at heart. Prefers action-oriented replays involving out plays, wombo combos, and massive team-fights. Refuses to play supports for some reason.
