Zhou "bLink" Yang was a Chinese professional Dota 2 player who won The International 2016 with Wings Gaming.

Biography

Dota 2

While playing in the Chinese match making servers, bLink was playing with an online team and Speed Gaming's success at MLG Columbus 2013, the organisation decided to obtain a Chinese team.[1] BLink's team was selected to form Speed Gaming.cn. He was first played in the WPC 2014 Qualifiers but failed to qualify for the main event. He also joined Chinese powerhouse Team DK as a stand in for WPC 2014.[1] He later joined Wings Gaming after Speed Gaming decided to shuffle their roster. In December 2015, Wings earned their first top four placement at World Cyber Arena 2015.

Despite a poor start to 2016, the team was able to display their incredible chemistry and defeat Team Liquid 3-0 in the grand finals of ESL One Manila 2016. This was the first tournament win for bLink as well as Wings Gaming as an organization.[2] Despite a mediocre performance at the Manila Major 2016, the team continued to find success finishing second at the Nanyang Dota 2 Championships S2 and placing fourth at DPL Season 1. Wings would go on to win The International 2016 despite only posting a 8-6 record in the group stage, defeating Digital Chaos 3-1 in the grand finals.
