Nethertoxin:
Viper releases a Nethertoxin at the targeted area. Units in that area take damage over time, have lower resistance and their passives do not work.

Mana cost: 75
Cooldown: 5
Notes: Applies Break within the area. The Break is provided by an aura, which lingers for 0.5 seconds. The damage is independent from the aura, and stacks with multiple instances. The projectile travels at a speed of 2000.

    • No longer slows movement speed by 10%/15%/20%/25%.
    • Rescaled attack speed slow from 10/15/20/25 to 8/16/24/32.
    • Increased damage per second from 10/15/20/25 to 8/16/24/32.

Nethertoxin:
Passive. Adds a powerful toxin to Viper's attacks. Deals more damage the lower the target's health is. Half damage against non-hero units.
Attack damage bonus per missing 20% hp: 2/4/6/8
Notes: Viper's attacks will deal 2/4/6/8 extra damage. This extra damage gets doubled for each 20% hp the target is missing, so this is how much extra damage his attacks deal:
100%-81% hp: 2/4/6/8 damage
80%-61% hp: 4/8/12/16 damage
60%-41% hp: 8/16/24/32 damage
40%-21% hp: 16/32/48/64 damage
20%-1% hp: 32/64/96/128 damage
Deals half as much damage against non-hero units. Affects buildings as well.
  • Reduced Viper Strike cooldown from 80 on each level to 80/50/30.
  • Reduced base attack damage from 28-30 to 23-25 (total attack damage is now 44-46).
  • Increased base attack damage from 16-18 to 28-30 (total attack damage is now 49-51).
Corrosive Skin:
Viper's Body is covered with poison. Any unit that attacks it gets infected. Reduces movement and attack speed and deals minor damage over time.
Damage per second: 5/10/15/20
Movement speed slow: 5%/10%/15%/20%
Attack speed slow: 5/10/15/20
Duration: 2
Notes: Any unit which attacks the Viper gets poisoned. The effect does not stack, successive attacks only refresh the duration.

  • Fixed Corrosive Skin to happen at the start of the attack animation rather than at the end of it.

  • Fixed Corrosive Skin having a bug that caused it to not work properly.
  • Fixed Viper Strike slow doing maximum power for the entire duration instead of falling off.
  • Removed Tiny minimap icon.png Tiny, Enigma minimap icon.png Enigma, and Viper minimap icon.png Viper from "New heroes" list, so they won't be the only ones chosen with Random Hero.
  • Fixed a bug where Viper minimap icon.png Viper's Nethertoxin debuff wouldn't do any damage to the creeps that it had poisoned.
  • Fixed Viper Strike not slowing Magic Immune.
  • Fixed Nethertoxin working on allied units for denies.
