Tusk's Accent[]

Anybody know what accent Tusk has? Is it even an accent, or is it just one of his quirks? Its origin can make a good entry on the trivia section. Beefcorporation 13:23, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

Pretty sure it is Scandinavian or something around there. The VA is really forcing that voice though; even though it's still definitely a good voice, Valve should probably have gotten a different VA for the job.. --Dogchow33 6:02 PM, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Even though I'm no expert with Scandinavian accents, I can tell something's wrong with his accent. One of the reasons why I'm not certain what it is. For now, let's just wait until more confirmation comes. Beefcorporation 06:23, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
It's Swedish accent
As a swede, I can say that it doesn't sound like any accent I've ever heard

Snowball[]

For me it feels like there is a slight delay before the units get out of the snowball when it crashes into the enemy target stunning it. Can someone test this, please?

Yes, there is a slight inconsistant delay. It's a bug. Don't add it to ability notes. Bu3ny (talk) 22:05, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Could ymir from the norse mythology be the inspiration from tusk name? Maybe add as trivia?[]

Tusk name "ymir" is the same from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ymir from the nordic folklore. Tusk have clearly an nordic Accent and all his spells are related to cold (like nordic region). I dont think this necessary classify for inspiration since its his name and abilitys from dota all stars but maybe the original inspiration came since there Ravor (talk) 07:57, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

Broken variable reference[]

Could someone with good knowledge of wiki markup syntax please look into the variable reference behind this note? "Adds an average of 24% ( 33%) damage to every attack." I looked into the source code, and the math and references all appear to be correct, but the final numbers are wrong. It appears that "#var:Walrus PUNCH! value2" is pulling the first value (300%), instead of the last value (400%). The final result should read "36% ( 45%)". Is there an easy way to fix this? Thanks for letting us know! Changed the calculations, and missed it since 7.30c. Sorry about that. Irismus (talk) 17:07, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
