This is a test for an attribute page, it's just a rough desing with very basic info, and items could use some sorting or even their own tables, but I don't want to work too much on a prototype before hearing your feedback.-ChocolateWaffle 15:36, 17 September 2011 (CDT)

I like how it looks. I'll go ahead and break up the hero table template later. -Lancey 15:55, 17 September 2011 (CDT)
I'm so not sure if Health section belongs to "Strength" page. After all there are plenty of items/abilities that boost hp and regen directly.--XRdR 23:00, 17 September 2011 (CDT)
Got any sugestions then? In the attributes page you said they should be all clumped together because there isn't enough info :/ -ChocolateWaffle 23:40, 17 September 2011 (CDT)
Well, you have already created this page deleting it would be a waste. Make a different page like Mana/Health and move hp/regen description there. I also sugest rewriting: "Strength heroes are heroes whose Strength is higher than their Intelligence or Agility, and it also increases faster upon leveling." This is just wrong, since there are heroes like Pit Lord or even Bristle etc. whose str is lower than other stats.--XRdR 02:28, 18 September 2011 (CDT)
Hmmm... I'll try later and make a Health+regen and a Mana+regen pages and the int page and see how it turns out. -ChocolateWaffle 08:02, 18 September 2011 (CDT)

No list of Strength items?[edit]

Is there a reason the list of strength items was removed? There's a list of items that grant armor, damage block, etc on the other pages, and their used to be one on this page. Why was it removed?

Uhh, well, since it would seem I removed it... I'm not sure. Don't remember any deliberate decision to do so (it was a few months ago). I'll put them back in when I have the time to make sure they are updated for the latest patch, if no one has any objection. -Baloroth

maximum hitpoint calculation[edit]

I actually have a problem following the hitpoint calculation. Maybe somebody can illucidate me.

For example, if I calculate the health of Meepo:

Meepo has 23 base strength at level 1 and is gaining 1.6 health per level. For each 1 strength every hero gains 19 hitpoints (HP). In addition each hero has 150 base HP.

At level 1, this results in (23 Strength * 19 (HP/ Strength)) + 150 HP = 587 HP (which matches the hero description in this wiki)

At level 16: Meepo has a strenght of 23 + (1.6 * 15) = 47 This translates into 47 * 19 = 893 HP. Plus 150 base HP this is: 1043 hitpoints.

This does not agree with 1081 HP as listed in the Meep description in this wiki.

Has sb. a clue why?

-> Solved by post in Teamliquid forum: the stat points that are received at level 12 (?) are included in the HP calculation.

Health Regen Amp.[edit]

According to my in-game test results, health regen amplification gained for each strength probably is 0.71 (5/7)%. However, the changelog of Version 7.07 only mentions that it should be 0.7%. Is this supposed to be a bug or something? Also, should it be recorded in the Version History section of related pages? Hope to know more. --Symmetrychaos (talk) 05:17, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

5/7 is correct, and we use that value here. The changelog simplified (rounded) it, but doesn't mean it being 5/7 is a bug. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 21:37, 23 January 2018 (UTC)
