Should the damage type of the wolves be written anywhere?[edit]

The wolves are normal-type damage. From checking a couple other page's (Nature's Prophet, Venomancer, Broodmother), Prophet's Trees deal normal damage and it is not mentioned. Venomancer's wards deal piercing damage and it is mentioned. Broodmother's spiderlings deal chaos damage, while her spiderites deal normal damage. Neither is mentioned. For now I will not change anything but I think we should make a standard for this. Either mention the damage type of all summons, or all summons whose damage type is not normal. That info is hidden away in Table of attack and armor types. I think any unit's damage type is relevant information and it would go great in the infobox on the right side of the page. Feel free to add what you'd like. - LingoSalad (talk)

It does physical damage most prolly Torbaap69 (talk) 07:53, 10 September 2016 (UTC)

Collision sizes?[edit]

I noticed that the collision sizes of heroes aren't mentioned on their hero pages. Most of them have 24, but there are some with just 8 (eg lycan and pl), which is quite a big difference. I think they should be mentioned somewhere, best place would be in the infobox imo. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bu3ny (talk) • (contribs)

Good point. It is an important attribute of a hero and it would go good in the infobox. I've added an entry in {{Hero infobox}} for collision size. (Also, if you sign your comments with ~~~~, it helps people know who left the comment.) —LingoSalad (talk) 02:56, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
I added the collision sizes to each hero's article. 24 for all except Phantom Lancer and Naga Siren, who have 8. Is that correct? I don't know how to look at those hero attributes. —LingoSalad (talk) 03:27, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
All heroes with DOTA_HULL_SIZE_SMALL instead of DOTA_HULL_SIZE_HERO in the NPC hero files have collision size 8. Thanks for adding it and thanks for the tips.
Also, would it be possible to add collision size info to the unit info boxes aswell? It will be harder to find out their collision sizes though. Bu3ny (talk) 09:54, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
Pictogram tick.png done. The collision size in the unit info boxes don't show up by default, so it won't look weird if the data's not there for a while. —LingoSalad (talk) 15:16, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
Just figured, there's also the creep info box. Bu3ny (talk) 09:35, 16 November 2014 (UTC)

Shapeshift aura buff linger duration[edit]

After testing in-game, I lose the Shapeshift buff exactly 18.03 seconds after its application (I guess the 0.03s discrepancy is cause of the server tick rate or something...), which would mean that its linger duration is 0.0s instead of the 0.1s stated on the wiki. So should it be changed everywhere on the wiki or did I do anything wrong? --Psion1C (talk) 04:51, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Yea, it doesn't linger anymore. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 22:21, 18 November 2016 (UTC)

wrong link[edit]

cripple in the 'Lycan Wolf' section links to Rod of Atos' Cripple, not Lycan Wolf's Cripple 84.139.169.30 19:46, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

That is a Template:Ability wrapper bug. Added it similar stuff on talk page. --Elite stay (talk) 17:51, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
