Outdated starting gold[edit]

"All players start off with 825 gold. Picking a Hero in any mode will cost you 200 gold, leaving you with 625 gold." Needs update, I do not think this is still the case, specifically the starting amounts.

Oh man, this is definitely outdated by now. I don't think there's a way to start with 825 gold anymore, even in all random. 12:23, 4 December 2017 (UTC) Bokoloony

Gold from selling items[edit]

"Selling items gives unreliable gold, even if they were bought with reliable gold. "

Does this happen even if it is within the 10 second grace period?

Yes, yes it does

Gold from getting killed by enemy creeps[edit]

When a hero gets killed by enemy creeps (not player-controlled) when there is no enemy hero nearby (1300 AoE), does the gold get split amongst all 5 enemies? And does this stop kill streaks or count as first blood?

Help[edit]

Gold/zh-hans's changelog(平衡性改动) can show normally. What's the problem? Elite stay (talk) 20:22, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

You used an equal sign (=) in 6.82b. It causes that. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 21:15, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

First Blood Exceptions[edit]

When the first kill is scored by the Radiant or the Dire (assisted by multiple heroes), there seems to be no First Blood. Does this skip First Blood entirely and what happends with the First Blood bounty?

Also, are there any other exceptions like this?

Psion1C (talk) 06:10, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

I think the next kill will be first blood. --Dotalim0204 (talk) 07:49, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Maybe it was some sort of bug, but I'm quite sure that I had a game where the First Blood wasn't announced at all (the 1st kill of the game was by the Radiant/Dire and not a hero).
Ok, just tested and the 1st blood is not announced after getting the 1st hero kill. (created lobby, one bot on my side, two bots as opponents, then, let one bot die to radiant/dire creeps while my hero and allied bot were next to him, didn't take the last hit, then killed the second bot, result = no 1st blood?) Buyback cooldown[edit]

It's still listed as 420 seconds (7 minutes) when it's been 480 seconds (8 minutes) since 7.06. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 104.218.63.25 (talk) • (contribs) 31 August 2017‎ • Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Fixed. Thanks for the notification. --Psion1C (talk) 19:39, 31 August 2017 (UTC)

Assists (AoE gold)[edit]

The formula being shown hasn't been updated ever since 7.11

The part where:

The comeback component is now just: ( DyingHeroNetWorth * 0.026 + 70 ) / # of killers Delta17v2 (talk) 01:07, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

That's what it says. ComebackFactor has to be in the formula because it can be either 0 or 1. - Lemoncake(talk) 05:38, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
