Creep Abilities by Tier[edit]

Below is a convenient list of the jungle creeps, their associated level, and the abilities they give Doom Bringer. The highlighted creeps are the ones I would rate as preferable for their tier --VagabondAzulien 07:11, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

The discussion of eating enemies to take their power is common in shamanistic folklore; but if we want to say it's from Final Fantasy, then the monsters in Final Fantasy Legend for Gameboy was the first game in the series which I think did this (1989).

Devour "Ignores" Magic Immunity[edit]

Tried to devour Mud Golems, but the "Target Immune to Magic" error popped up. They weren't Ancients, just regular Mud Golems. Outremer 16:01, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

just want to pinpoint that gem is also one of the best items to disable.Davanos 04:51, 11 February 2013 (UTC)

Response reference to a song[edit]

Just realised that when Doom activates a haste rune, he says "like a bat out of hell", whch MAY be a reference to Meat Loaf's "bat out of hell" song from 1977, so I made the edit in the trivia page saying:

  • Doom's quote when activating a haste rune "like a bat out of hell" may be a reference to the famous song "Bat out of hell" by Meat Loaf, it features a boy who is driving so fast and ecstatically that he is unable to see an obstruction until it is "way too late".

but apparently an anon can't edit a page because admin tagged it as "nonsensical anon edit", it's not nonsensical because you can check what I'm saying is true in Doom responses, but just confirm what I tried to contribute is true and please add it to the trivia section since I can't,thanks.

Doom items[edit]

What happened to the Impending Transgressions Set for Doom? Its not in the Equipment tab.

No Incantations of Hell set is displayed which was added along with the Crown of Hells, it's just in the new Dire chest themed chest.

I'm working on new sets! Be patient! --eЯmac.hdp (talk) 11:31, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
Done! Working on other sets! --eЯmac.hdp (talk) 11:56, 20 March 2014 (UTC)

Doom's Attack Range[edit]

According to the tooltip of the damage and armor values, Doom's attack range is 150, 22 more than the melee standard (128 attack range). This range value also is in the game, as Doom appears to attack at a slightly longer distance that standard melee. I'm not one to make edits, but if that is only an error, I suggest it be changed.

That's the internal value for Doom's attack range, so it isn't an error at all. Vi3trice (talk) 21:45, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
So the "Melee" marker on the statistics chart for this hero should read either 150 or just be 150 without the marker. I'm on mobile and I can't tell if the "Melee" marker already reads 150. These are some suggestions.
The marker already reads 150. Vi3trice (talk) 22:05, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
While it is true that hovering over Melee causes it to pop up the tooltip for 150, there should be an asterisk next to it visible without hovering over and, I believe this extraordinary case merits some edit to the main body of text itself since this additional attack range allows Doom to jungle in such a way that he can hide in choke points and hit creeps which are behind other creeps increasing his jungle efficiency. Something along the lines of a simple edit like, "Unlike every other melee hero Doom's massive sword gives him slightly longer attack range" or some other such small edit to the main text. Maybe place it in trivia? Idk.

Doom's incorrect health / health formula algorithm needs update?[edit]

So I have said this once to SirHunted on reddit as well as private-messaging him and putting this up on the Health discussion/talk tab of the formula that calculates health accurately.

dashes between 1 and second (1-second)[edit]

Proper grammar states that a dash should be placed in these cases (1-second timer).TOTORO01 (talk) 09:23, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

This isn't limited to Doom, but any damage over time ability. You can edit it everywhere you find it. I'm not native speaker, so I can't confirm the grammar rule. Molldust (talk) 10:14, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Not the "time-based" edit, that was an error, I was talking about Bu3ny's edit reverting theses dashes when they are indeed proper grammar for American English.TOTORO01 (talk) 10:19, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Didn't know this was a thing in english, but it looks like it is. My mistake. ~~ Bu3ny (talk) 13:49, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Just don't know where else to ask, but is "independent from" also wrong (e.g. "The proc chances work fully independently from each other")? Shouldn't it be "work fully independently of each other" instead? --Psion1C (talk) 17:26, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Independently of each other is correct.TOTORO01 (talk) 18:48, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
