- Global Silence stops Snapfire's Mortimer Kisses.
- Last Word can prevent Snapfire from casting additional spells.
- Spiked Carapace stops Snapfire's Mortimer Kisses.
- Ice Blast, Cold Feet, and Ice Vortex are easier to land on Snapfire while she channels her Mortimer Kisses.
- Blade Fury makes Juggernaut immune against all of Snapfire's spells and allows him to get closer.
- A well-timed Omnislash allows Juggernaut to dodge Snapfire's spells, and she has no way to deal with it.

- Diffusal Blade reduces Snapfire's already low mana pool and the slow prevents her from escaping easily.

- Mortimer Kisses will quickly destroy Chen's creeps and might waste Hand of God.
- Firesnap Cookie can be fed to Snapfire herself or to an ally caught inside Power Cogs.
- A badly placed Power Cog makes it easier for Snapfire to aim Mortimer Kisses on Clockwerk
- Snapfire's AoE abilities in general are effective in clearing Phantom Lancer's illusions.
- Lil' Shredder will make quick work of Supernova.
- Mortimer Kisses can easily hit a Phoenix using Sun Ray.
- Mortimer Kisses can reduce Omniknight's impact in teamfights. Omniknight's Heavenly Grace cannot purge multiple stacks of Mortimer Kisses. The damage is also magical, making Omniknight's ultimate, Guardian Angel, useless.
- Mortimer Kisses can deal a large amount of damage to Void during Chronosphere, either outright killing him or forcing him out before he can kill any allies caught in his ultimate.

- Gobble Up can throw Clockwerk directly on top of an enemy hero, or it can be used to save him from a bad engagement (requires Aghanim's Scepter)
- Chronosphere sets up a great opportunity to combo with Mortimer Kisses.
- Time Lock helps lock down target for Snapfire to attack.
- Time Walk can be used with Firesnap Cookie to give Faceless Void a long distance push.
- Fortune's End can be used on Snapfire to root enemies after she jumps in with Firesnap Cookie.
- Fate's Edict and False Promise protects Snapfire against magic damage while she channels Mortimer Kisses.
- Upheaval keeps enemies in place for Snapfire to hit with Mortimer Kisses.
- Arena Of Blood keeps many enemies in place for easy Mortimer Kisses.

- Play makers( Earthshaker, Enigma, Mars etc) can make great use of Spit Out and initiate a fight from afar.
- Heroes with abilities that slow, stun or root enemies will make them easy targets for Mortimer Kisses: Magnus, Enigma, Earthshaker, Earth Spirit, Keeper of the Light, Tidehunter, Kunkka.
