Storegga is the second boss of the Siltbreaker Act II. He is located in The Frozen Crag.

Notes:

  • Slams the ground with his giant arm, damaging and stunning every enemy hero beneath it.
  • The effects of this ability begin during the cast time.
    • 1.32 seconds after cast begin, the damage and stun are applied. 0.88 seconds later, when the cast point is reached, the spell goes on cooldown.
    • Since Storegga never cancels the cast and cannot be interrupted, he always fully finishes casting it.
  • The effect radius is centered on 2 points of Storegga's arm, so that the total area is bigger than just a simple 210 radius.
    • Due to this, the effect can only hit a certain distance away from Storegga. Its range cannot change.
  • Storegga cannot turn during the cast of Arm Slam, so that the direction is set upon begin.
  • Despite being a single-target spell, the targeting only determines the point at which the slam happens.
  • The cast of Arm Slam is not registered as a spell cast and thus does not proc any on-cast effects.

Notes:

  • Grabs a random enemy or boulder, to throw them later.
  • The effects of this ability begin during the cast time.
    • 1.2 seconds after cast begin, a random unit within 200 radius around his hand gets grabbed. 0.8 seconds later, when the cast point is reached, the spell goes on cooldown.
    • Since Storegga never cancels the cast and cannot be interrupted, he always fully finishes casting it.
  • Storegga keeps the unit or boulder grabbed for any time between 1 and 5 seconds.
  • Storegga cannot turn during the cast of Grab, so that the direction is set upon begin.

Notes:

  • Throws the previously grabbed unit or boulder towards the targeted point.
  • The throw speed, impact radius and damage differ based on whether the thrown unit is a hero, a small boulder, a medium boulder or a large boulder
    • Hero: Thrown at a speed of 2500 (100% of base), with an impact radius of 200 (100% of base) and 483.33 (30% of base) damage.
    • Small boulder: Thrown at a speed of 3750 (150% of base), with an impact radius of 150 (75% of base) and 1087.5 (75% of base) damage.
    • Medium boulder: Thrown at a speed of 2500 (100% of base), with an impact radius of 250 (125% of base) and 2175 (150% of base) damage.
    • Large boulder: Thrown at a speed of 1250 (50% of base), with an impact radius of 300 (150% of base) and 4350 (300% of base) damage.
  • The thrown hero itsel does not get damaged/stunned. Only its allies around its landing point are hit.
  • Units hit by boulders are also knocked back 275 range at a speed of 275 for 1 second.
  • Storegga cannot turn during the cast of Grab Throw, so that the direction is set upon begin.
  • The cast of Grab Throw is not registered as a spell cast and thus does not proc any on-cast effects.

Notes:

  • Bombards enemies with avalanches, dealing damage to them.
  • The Avalanches travel a straight line at a speed of 300. They have no range limit and travel until the channeling ends.
    • This means the first release avalanche line can travel up to 3000 range (speed times max channel time).
  • On each interval, an avalanche is created, towards a random hero's position.
  • The avalanches deal damage in the same intervals in which they are created, dealing 400 damage in 0.5 second intervals.
    • The areas of multiple Avalanches fully stack, each dealing damage to enemies standing within them.
  • Although they also place the Hellbear's Thunderclap debuff, it has no slow value set and therefore does not slow.
  • The cast of Avalanche is not registered as a spell cast and thus does not proc any on-cast effects.


Behavior[edit]

Storegga has no basic attacks and fully relies on his spells. His Arm Slam serves as a replacement, which he uses whenever he can (i.e., when his other spells are on cooldown). Storegga prefers grabbing his boulders, since their effects are much stronger than grabbing and throwing a hero. Storegga starts using Avalanche once his health drops below 50%. He uses it whenever it is off cooldown.
