If the sun survives, both the Phoenix and the ally's health and mana will be fully replenished, and their basic abilities (excluding items) refreshed.

New Icarus Dive
Dives forward in a looping arc, dealing moderate damage over time and slowing enemy units along the path. Dive can be canceled at any point by using Supernova or the Stop Icarus Dive sub-ability. Casting your other spells does not interrupt it.

Stop Icarus Dive
Immediately cancels the dive.
  • Fire Spirits
    • Increased duration from 12.5 to 16.
    • Can now be cast during Sun Ray towards any direction, without requiring to face the targeted point.
  • Reworked Sun Ray and added the Toggle Movement sub-ability.
    • Is no longer channeling and you can control Phoenix minimap icon.png Phoenix like before with its direction as well as the use of the Toggle Movement.
    • No longer slows.
    • Max channel time mechanic is the same as previous (6 seconds and damage/heal increase per second channeled).
    • Now also heals allies in the radius for half of the amount.
Old Sun Ray
Channels a sunray in the targeted direction. Deals dps and slows to all heroes in that path. The damage increases per second. Maximum channel time of 6 seconds.

Phoenix expels a beam of light at the cost of its own health. The beam damages enemies and heals allies for a base amount plus a percentage of their health. The percentage increases as the beam continues to fire.

    • Overall, it heals for the same amount, but 2 seconds faster.

Old Icarus Dive
Phoenix dives forward in an arc with a fixed distance in the targeted direction, dealing damage and disarming any units it comes into contact with, and then orbiting back to its original position. If during the 2 second duration of this spell Phoenix casts another spell, the dive ends. Cost 10% of current health to cast.

Old Fire Spirits
Born out of his own life force, Icarus creates 4 fire spirits to fly alongside him. Each spirit slowly grows in power and can be used to damage his enemies or heal his allies. After growing to maximum power in 10 seconds, they will automatically sacrifice themselves around the Phoenix. Costs 10% of your current health to cast. Heals for half the damage.
