Phase (7.20-7.20c)
Pierces spell immunity.

When targeting an enemy unit up to 900 range away, you gain 20% increased movement speed on melee heroes, and 10% on ranged heroes, and lets you move through units and turn more quickly.

Buff modifier_item_phase_boots_active: Dispellable with death only.

Notes:

  • This ability temporarily replaced the current Phase from 7.20 to 7.20c.
  • Activates whenever the owner is given an attack order on an enemy unit while within the trigger range.
    • The hero does not have to be within the range as the order is given. Entering the range afterwards triggers it as well.
    • Does not trigger when the hero automatically acquires an attack target with auto-attack, or with ground-attack moves.
    • Once triggered, the buff stays on the hero until a new order is given, regardless of distance to the target.
  • When canceled, the buff lingers on the hero for 0.5 seconds before disappearing.
  • The buff also activates on each attack begin, regardless of target. This means it briefly activates on each attack when denying allies.
  • Does not activate when targeting spells on enemies, it only reacts on orders.
  • Allows the user to pass through other units, including wards, but not through buildings.
  • Checks the user's range type periodically and updates the speed bonus immediately if the range type changes.

Notes:

  • This ability got reworked into the current Phase in the 7.20 gameplay patch, before getting reverted in 7.20d again.
  • Does not interrupt the user's channeling spells upon cast.
  • Allows the user to pass through other units, including wards, but not through buildings.
  • Checks the user's range type periodically and updates the speed bonus immediately if the range type changes.
  • If used by a melee hero, increases the user's base turn rate to 1 for its duration. Turn rate slowing effects still affect it normally.
