- This ability replaced Purification between 3.2a and 5.10 patches, and was replaced back by Purification in the 5.10 gameplay patch.
- Ability tooltip: This unit is being purified; its hit points regenerate over time.
- Heals 7.5/15/20.25 per second.

Creates a divine barrier around an ally which grants them Spell Immunity and 100% resistance to Magic Damage.
Notes:
- This ability got replaced by Heavenly Grace in the 7.20 gameplay patch.
- Applies a basic dispel on the target upon cast, following the same rules as any other dispel.
- Repel first applies the spell immunity, then the dispel.
- Repelled units cannot be affected by Ghost Scepter or Ghost Shroud. The buffs get removed immediately.

Calls a heavenly punisher down to deal light damage to a nearby Dire and stun it for 4 seconds.

Whenever a nearby allied hero dies, the Omniknight gains divine power for a period of time.
Notes:
- This ability got replaced by Guardian Angel in 5.50
- Allied hero dieback still grants an extra stack of Divine Retribution.

The Omniknight adds the power of his god to his weapon. His sword smolders with holy power and gains ranged attack.
Attack Range Bonus: 300/400/500
Bonus Damage: 8%/16%/24%
Notes:
- This ability was introduced in patch 3.2a when Omniknight attack range was changed from melee to ranged.
- Only increases base damage and that given by the primary attribute of the affected hero. Raw bonus damage is not increased.
- Attack Projectile
- Reduces attack projectile speed from 2000 to 1060.
- Changes the fired projectile from none to a holy light ( Purification)
- When the projectile lands on the enemy, a new light beam with a runic symbol appears on top the enemy.
- The Runic light beam is the one which deals the damage.
- Ability Tooltip: The Omniknight blade smolders with holy power. He has gained a ranged attack with bonus damage.
- This ability got replaced by Divine Retribution in 5.31
Wrath of God (Pre 3.2a)[edit]
Notes:
- Upon activation creates an aura that calls down a wave of angel to damage nearby enemy units.
- Each angel deal 400/600/800 damage between 3.5 intervals that occur in a 250 AOE.
- You can toggle off and on Wrath of God to create a new instance of damage.
- This ability got replaced by Holy Blade in 3.2a
