Burrow:
While Burrowed, Nyx Assassin is invisible and unable to move/attack, but has 40% damage resistance, and regenerates 1.5% of his health and mana per second. Nyx Assassin's abilities also have improved properties while burrowed

Notes: Spiked Carapace instantly stuns any enemy units within a 300 radius without requiring them to hurt him first. Casting Vendetta causes Burrow to end. Use Unburrow sub-ability to end Burrow.
  • Increased Impale cast range from 500 to 700 (matches its travel distance now).
  • Impale can no longer directly target units, but only target ground now.
  • Spiked Carapace no longer stuns and damages the player's hero when the player's summoned units proc it (the summoned units get affected instead).

    • Reduced mana burned from 500% to 350%/400%/450%/500% of the target's intelligence.
    • Reduced mana cost from 130/120/110/100 to 100 on each level.
  • Spiked Carapace
    • Reduced duration from 2.75 to 2.25.

  • Mana Burn
    • Increased mana burned from 400% to 500% of target's intelligence.
    • Rescaled mana cost from 90/110/130/150 to 130/120/110/100.
  • Spiked Carapace
    • Can now reflect one damage instance from each player during its duration, instead of only from the first player to damage him.
    • Reduced carapace duration from 4.5 to 2.75.
    • Reduced mana cost from 50 to 40.
    • Increased cooldown from 10 to 14.
  • Increased Vendetta movement speed bonus from 10%/15%/20% to 16%/18%/20%.
Spiked Carapace:
Temporarily enhances the Assassin's chitinous armor with organic barbs, causing him to prevent and reflect the next player based damage instance and stuns the target. Lasts 4.5 seconds.

Stun duration: 0.6/1.2/1.8/2.4
Mana cost: 50
Cooldown: 10
Note: Only triggers on player based damage, on any damage type. Does not prevent status debuffs. Spikes visually grow out of the hero when he is in this state.

  • Reduced Vendetta cooldown from 90/75/60 to 70/60/50.
  • Increased collision size from 12 to 24.

  • Urna Swarm
    • Reduced maximum allowed Scarabs from 2/4/6/8 to 2/3/4/5.
    • Increased mana cost from 10 on each level to 40/30/20/10.
    • Increased cooldown from 14/11/8/5 to 26/19/12/5.
    • Infestation
      • Increased damage per second from 20 to 40.
      • Increased radius from 275 to 300.
Raises a Scarab from a corpse. Scarabs have the Infestation ability, which silences enemies within a small radius and applies a damage over time, but also killing the skarab. They also can burrow into the ground, turning invisible to enemies, but also immobile.

Max allows Skarabs: 2/4/6/8
Mana cost: 10
Cooldown: 14/11/8/5
Notes: Raises 1 scarab per cast. Skarabs lasts until killed, have 200 health, 6 armor, 450 movement speed, 1400/1400 vision, can't attack, are spell immune and have the Infestation and Burrow abilities.
Infestation:
Kills the Scarab to silence and damage nearby enemies.
Radius: 275
Damage per second: 20
Duration: 3
Notes: Has no cast time. The scarab dies upon cast.
Burrow:
The Scarab digs into the ground, becoming invisible and immobile.
Vision reduction: 1000/1000
Notes: Has an instant cast time. While burrowed, the Scarab cannot move or use Infestation. Lasts until toggled off.
  • Mana Burn can no longer target non-hero units, since it no longer affects them.
Old Mana Burn:
Burns a fixed amount of mana and deals damage equal to that amount.

Notes: Effects are applied instantly.
  • Recoded Impale:
    • No longer turns hit enemies invulnerable during the air time.
    • No longer requires channeling in order for the spikes to reach max distance.
    • No longer causes hit enemy units to instantly face towards Nyx Assassin.
    • No longer conflicts with Earth Spike, Burrowstrike, Ravage and Impales from other Nyx Assassins.
    • No longer fails to stun and damage enemies when the targeted point was a cliff.
  • Increased Mana Burn cast range from 500 on each level to 500/575/650/725.
  • Vendetta
    • Increased movement speed bonus from 10% on each level to 10%/15%/20%.
    • Increased duration from 20 on each level to 20/35/50
    • Reduced cooldown from 90 on each level to 90/75/60
  • Increased base armor from 0 to 1 (total armor is now 3.66).
  • Reduced Impale cast range from 600 to 500.
