The Nether Reaches is an underground complex of caves. It was once open to the surface world, but became sealed off after a tectonic shift. The caverns are luminous, with a faint green glow. Netherdrakes, including Viper, have inhabited the Nether Reaches for millions of years since their race was trapped inside.[1] Despite being sealed, rumors exist of a secret passage deep in the abyss "between the realms" that lead back into the Nether Reaches, and Viper is searching for it.[2]
Pugna also derives his powers from the Nether Reaches.
