Sylvester "Link" Hoelgaard is a Danish Dota 2 player.

Professional Career[edit]

Early Career[edit]

Signs of Link's early DotA career could be traced back to BackToBasics, whom Link participated Farm 4 Fame #7 with. Link eventually teamed up to form RapE.

NE[edit]

In 2010, Link formed a part of Nordic E-sports, debuting in Anubia Cup. They have since participated in many tournaments, including ASUS Summer 2011, without much success. NE disbanded near the end of 2011.

monkey, SK, dd. and Quantic[edit]

As Next Evolution dropped their DotA team, Link teamed up with AngeL and co. to form monkeybusiness. They participated in the offline finls of the 9th ICS, and placed 2nd only to Moscow Five. They also participated in Electronic Sports World Cup 2011, placing 2nd, with Link showing some stellar plays of Anti-Mage while winning the first edition of BenQ 'The Clash'. The team was picked up soon by SK Gaming, and was sent to participate in Dreamhack Corsair Vengeance. A relatively disappointing performance only to see them obtaining third place. After some financial disagreements, the team parted ways with SK and renamed into dd., and almost immediately won D2E Challenge. Soon enough, Quantic Gaming picked up the team as they reach the finals in The Defense. They weren't able to defeat Natus Vincere, but showed a great performance. Later Quantic dropped their danish squad, and after some difficulties with eclypsia the team disbanded. Later in 2012 Link joined the danish army, and was unable to compete competitively for a long time. When Link returned he joined forces with his old teammate Calculus & co in dd.Dota.

Mousesports[edit]

Link joined mouz in October 2013. He then left the team in December of 2013 to continue his studies.[1]

MeetYourMakers[edit]

Link rejoined MYM in March 2014.[2]
