Feak attracted the attention of the game industry and Riot Games, when his mod, known as Dota-Allstars, was played by 10 million gamers. He began this project while studying computer science at the University of Wisconsin. Feak has since been employed by Riot Games as a game designer for League of Legends, a video game inspired by his previous work.
Guinsoo is the creator of DotA Allstars. He started to develop this map from 2004 until 2005 (6.01). He recruited Icefrog--the current DotA and Dota 2 lead developer--to assist with programming in 2005. Later that year, he left the project and passed the lead developer position to Neichus, who continued to develop with IceFrog.
