Attacks[edit]

  • Pre attack sound plays during the attack animation.
  • Projectile launch sound plays as the attack projectile is released.

  • Projectile impact sound plays as the attack projectile successfully hits the target.

Movement[edit]

  • Play Loop sound plays permanently on Grimstroke, gets louder while moving (50% vol).

Abilities[edit]

Stroke of Fate[edit]

  • Play Pre-cast sound plays on Grimstroke during the cast animation.
  • Play Cast sound plays on Grimstroke upon cast.
  • Cast layer sounds play on Grimstroke upon cast.
  • Play Projectile sound plays on and follows the projectile upon cast.
  • Play Hero damage sound plays on every hit enemy hero.
  • Play Creep damage sound plays on every damaged creep.
  • Play Full cast sound example.

Phantom's Embrace[edit]

  • Play Cast sound plays on Grimstroke upon cast.
  • Play Projectile sound plays on and follows the phantom upon cast.
  • Play Latch sound plays on the target upon latching onto it.
  • Damage sound play on each damage tick while the phantom is attached.
  • Play Departure sound plays on the target upon the phantom leaving it at the end of the duration (90% vol).
  • Play Return sound plays on Grimstroke upon the phantom reaching him.
  • Play Death sound plays when the phantom gets killed.

Ink Swell[edit]

  • Play Cast sound plays on the target upon cast.
  • Damage sound plays on each damage tick while Ink Swell is active.
  • Play End sound plays upon Ink Swell triggering, applying its area effect.
  • Play Stun sound playing on each hit enemy hero.
  • Play Full sound example.

Soulbind[edit]

  • Play Cast sound plays on Grimstroke upon cast.
  • Play Target sound plays on the target upon cast.
  • Play Latch sound plays on the secondary target upon getting bound.
  • Play Loop sound begins as soon as two heroes get bound together. Only the second half of the sound loops.

Other[edit]

  • Play Reveal sound played upon selecting Grimstroke in the main menu announcement area.
