Pudge Wars is a ten-player custom game in a 5 versus 5 team game.

Gameplay

• Each player controls a Pudge with only one spell to use: .
• The teams faces off on a square map divided by an uncrossable river.
• Kill players to level up and spend ability points to upgrade the damage, radius, distance and speed of your hook.
• Buy custom items such as the Grappling Hook to help you secure even more kills.
• Headshot - Instantly kill Pudge by hitting a hook when he is already being hooked by another player.

Objective

• The first team to get 50/75/100 kills wins the game.

Pudge Wars not only offers a new map and new ways of upgrading your Meat Hook, it also contains custom items. You can purchase consumables like healing salves or gameplay changing items like the Grappling Hook. You can purchase upgrades for your item up to level 5. They will get stronger at each level.

Power Ups

A Power Up rune will spawn at the bottom of the river every 40 seconds. It will move towards the top of the river before disappearing. To get the effect of the Power Up the players need to either hook it or attack it. There are currently five different Power Up runes in the game:

• Hyper Speed - Slows down time for everybody but the Pudge that hooked it. Movement speed and hook speed is decreased for the others and increased for the Pudge that hooked it.
• Gold - Gives 500 gold to the Pudge that hooked it.
• Shield Barrier - Creates a shield around the Pudge that hooked it that deals 100 damage per second to enemies and allies.
• Fire - Makes the hook for the Pudge that hooked it leave a trail of fire that deals 50 damage per second.
• Dynamite - Makes the Pudge that hooked it explode after 10 seconds dealing 20000 damage to enemies and allies in a 400 radius.
• Thunder - When a pudge hooks the Thunder Rune his hook will be charged with thunder, making his hook spawn lightning on hit.

• Added a button to close the voting UI in case it gets stuck. (This is temporary until I can find whatever is causing it to stick.)
• Pudge is no longer rooted while being hooked.
• Tiny's Arm no longer goes on cooldown when being used without any units to toss.
• Voting interface has been rewritten from scratch in the new Panorama system.
• Voting time has been raised to 60 seconds.
• Players are now stunned during pre-game voting.
