Affects
Enemies / Self
Damage
Pure
Adds extra pure damage to Outworld Devourer's attacks, based on his remaining mana pool. Steals intelligence for 80 seconds per hit when attacking an enemy hero. Arcane Orb damage splashes in a small area.
Cast Range: 450
Damage Radius: 175
Current Mana as Damage: 6%/7%/8%/9%
Intelligence Steal: 1/2/3/4
Steal Duration: 80 (Talent 140)
Cooldown: 0
Mana: 110/140/170/200
Does not pierce spell immunity. Intelligence reduction persists if debuff was placed before spell immunity.
Modifiers
Buff Arcane Orb Buff: Undispellable.
Buff Arcane Orb Buff Counter: Undispellable.
Debuff Arcane Orb Debuff: Undispellable.
Debuff Arcane Orb Debuff Counter: Undispellable.
Harbinger's outworldly knowledge allows it to tap into the ebb and flow of all spiritual energy, infusing it into his being.

Notes:

  • This ability got reworked into the current Arcane Orb in the 7.23 gameplay patch.
  • Deals its damage before the attack damage is applied, but still depends on the attack hitting the target.
  • Checks Outworld Devourer's mana pool upon projectile hit, so increasing or decreasing his mana pool while the projectile flies does affect its damage.
  • Steals intelligence after applying its damage, so newly increased mana pool does not affect the attack's damage.
    • The intelligence loss on the target does not keep the current mana percentage, but instead removes 12 mana per intelligence from the current mana pool.
    • The intelligence gain on Outworld Devourer keeps the current mana percentage, without adding any extra mana.
  • Upon losing the debuff, the target keeps their current mana percentage, but also gets 12 mana per intelligence added to their mana pool again.
    • This means the target effectively regains more mana than it lost initially.
  • The intelligence loss on Outworld Devourer upon losing the buff keeps the current mana percentage, just like upon gaining the buff.
  • Cannot reduce enemy intelligence below 0, but Outworld Devourer always gains the full amount of intelligence, no matter how much the target has left.
  • Targeted non-intelligence heroes effectively lose 12/24/36/48 mana, 0.05/0.1/0.15/0.2 mana regen and 0.07%/0.14%/0.21%/0.28% spell damage.
    • Targeted intelligence heroes effectively lose 12/24/36/48 mana, 0.05/0.1/0.15/0.2 mana regen, 0.07%/0.14%/0.21%/0.28% spell damage, and 1/2/3/4 attack damage.
    • Vice versa, effectively increases Outworld Devourer's mana, mana regen, spell damage, and attack damage by the same amount per cast.
  • Places 1 debuff on attacked targets and 1 buff on Outworld Devourer, which show the number of current stacks (a number is visible on the icons).
    • The stacks' durations are independent from each other. Successive casts do not refresh previous stacks' durations.
  • Upon death, the dying hero's intelligence restores back to its normal values, while the other party keeps the changed intelligence values for the remaining duration.

Buff Equilibrium Active: Dispellable with any dispel.
Debuff Equilibrium Debuff: Dispellable with any dispel.

Notes:

  • Interrupts Outworld Devourer's channeling spells upon cast.
  • Despite the tooltip, does not steal mana. It only restores mana on Outworld Devourer, while the target loses nothing.
  • Despite the tooltip, the slow is applied for any damage, not only just spell damage.
  • The restored mana is based on damage dealt after all reductions.
  • Triggers on any damage, not only from spells. This includes attacks and items.
  • Places the slow debuff after the triggering damage.

Sanity's Eclipse (Pre 7.23)
Sanity's Eclipse icon.png
Damage
Magical
Unleashes a psychic blast that removes 30% of the mana from affected heroes, while also damaging them based on the difference between the affected hero's intelligence and Outworld Devourer's. If an enemy has the same or higher intelligence than Outworld Devourer, Sanity's Eclipse will not cause damage. Sanity's Eclipse can hit units trapped by Astral Imprisonment.

Essence Aura
Essence Flux icon.png
Ability
Aura
Whenever nearby allied Heroes or Outworld Devourer itself casts a spell, it gains a chance to restore a percentage of its mana pool. Outworld Devourer also passively gains a bonus to its base mana pool. Several skills with no cooldown and toggled spells cannot trigger Essence Aura.
Radius: 900
Proc Chance: 40% (Talent 55%)
Max Mana Restored: 10%/15%/20%/25%
Mana Bonus: 150/250/350/450

Modifiers
Buff Essence Aura Effect: Undispellable.
The crystals of the Outworld produce arcane power, and the Harbinger channels it into the world of mortals.

Notes:

  • The aura's buff lingers for 0.5 seconds.
  • Restores the mana right after the spell is cast.
  • Essence Aura does not proc on any item abilities.
  • On average, restores 4%/6%/8%/10% (Talent 5.5%/8.25%/11%/13.75%) of caster's maximum mana per cast.

Adds extra pure damage to Outworld Devourer's attacks, based on his remaining mana pool. Deals extra damage against summoned units and illusions.
Cast Range: 450
Current Mana as Damage: 6%/7%/8%/9%
Summons Damage Bonus: 100/200/300/400

Mana: 100
Harbinger's outworldly knowledge allows it to tap into the ebb and flow of all spiritual energy, infusing it into his being.

Notes:

  • This ability got reworked into the following Arcane Orb in the 7.23 gameplay patch.
  • Deals its damage before the attack damage is applied, but still depends on the attack hitting the target.
  • Checks Outworld Devourer's mana pool upon projectile hit, so increasing or decreasing his mana pool while the projectile flies does affect its damage.

Astral Imprisonment (Pre 6.86)

Cast Range: 500
Intelligence Steal: 4/7/10/13
Steal Duration: 50
Duration of Imprisonment: 1/2/3/4
Cooldown: 18/16/14/12
Mana: 120/140/160/180
Modifiers

Locked away in the pocket between this world and the Outworld, victims realize their infantile knowledge and mortality.

Notes:

  • Can be cast on self or allied heroes, without stealing their intelligence.
  • When cast on an enemy, it steals his intelligence directly upon cast.
  • Cannot steal intelligence from illusions, but from Meepo minimap icon.png Meepo clones:
    • When stealing intelligence from the primary Meepo, only he loses intelligence and the clones still keep theirs.
    • When stealing intelligence from one of the clones, Outworld Devourer gains a stack, but without reducing the clone's intelligence.
  • Cannot reduce enemy intelligence below 0, but Outworld Devourer always gains the full amount of intelligence, no matter how much the target has left.
  • Effectively reduces the enemy's max mana pool by 52/91/130/169, mana regeneration by 0.16/0.28/0.4/0.52 and if it is an intelligence hero, attack damage by 4/7/10/13.
  • On the other side, Outworld Devourer's max mana pool is increased by 52/91/130/169, mana regeneration by 0.16/0.28/0.4/0.52 and attack damage by 4/7/10/13.
  • On top of that, it also reduces the enemy's current mana pool by 52/91/130/169 right before reducing their intelligence, while increasing Outworld Devourer's by the same amount.
  • This effectively reduces the cost of Astral Imprisonment to 68/49/30/11 mana.
  • When the target gets its stolen intelligence back, it also gets its current mana increased and Outworld Devourer reduced by the same amount.
  • Upon death, the dying hero's intelligence restores back to its normal values, while the other party keeps the changed intelligence values for the remaining duration.
  • The red ring expanding at the center of the visual effects indicates the duration of the imprisonment. The red ring is visible to allies only.
  • However, it is only adapted to level 4, meaning at level 1 it expands for 1/4, on 2 for 1/2, on level 3 for 3/4, and only at level 4 it expands up to the edge.
  • The -disablehelp command prevents an allied Outworld Devourer from casting this spell on you.
