Nether Blast

An exploding pulse deals damage to enemies and structures in the area. Deals half damage to structures.
  • Nether Blast icon.png Nether Weakness: Immediately blasts the surrounding area with small explosions that deals no damage, but reduce targets' magic resistance (half the effect on towers). Stacks with itself. Explosion count increases and blasts become closer to the target point as the skill is leveled, increasing possible overlaps on each target. Each new cast of Nether Blast clears the previous stack count.

Talent Upgrades:
Talent Nether Blasts' Nether Weakness is not reset when a new blast affects an already affected target. Instead, it refreshes the duration and stacks upon it.

  • Max Nether Weakness Stacks: Infinite
Talent Nether Blast secondary blasts deal 33% of original damage.
The Arts of Oblivion include a deafening blast of emerald flames from the Nether Reaches.

Enemies / Allies
A powerful banishing spell that slows a unit and renders it unable to attack or be attacked. Afflicted units take extra magic damage.
  • Nether Blast icon.png From The Nether Reaches: While Decrepified, all damage on the target is stored, and is released on a Nether Blast centered on the target location when the effect ends. The radius of the Nether Blast is base radius + all damage stored for the duration. The Nether Blast deals damage to enemies equal to a percentage of damage stored, and heals allies in the area of effect for the same amount.
    • Damage Conversion: 10%/10%/10%/10%/15%/20%/25%
    • Min Radius: 100

  • Decrepify icon.png Masterful Banish: Only enemies are slowed. Allies become less vulnerable to magic, while enemies suffer the full effect.

Nether Ward

Pugna places a Nether Ward at the target location. The ward reduces the mana regeneration of nearby enemy heroes, and will fire at any enemy hero who casts a spell. Nether Ward deals damage equal to the damage multiplier times the mana spent by the enemy hero. Lasts seconds.

Talent Whenever Nether Ward zaps a target, it becomes briefly decrepified. This occurs before zap damage is applied.

Talent Nether Ward doesn't take damage from casting spells, but has a cooldown between casts.
Debuff Nether Ward Aura: Dispellable with death only.
While at the lamasery for the Arts of Oblivion, Pugna learned to dominate his classmates with a simple ward charged with Nether magic.

Life Drain

Enemies / Allies
When cast on an enemy, Pugna drains health from the target enemy unit to heal himself and granting vision over the target. If Pugna has full HP, and the enemy target is a Hero, Life Drain will restore mana instead.

When cast on an ally, Pugna will drain his own health into his ally.
  • Pugna icon.png Soul Master: Does not require channeling. Can still be interrupted by silences and stuns.
  • Life Drain icon.png Oblivion's Reach: The break distance is extended with any cast range increases that the user wields.
  • Life Drain icon.png Essence of Life: Immediately slows enemy targets. Every second ramps the slow up, until the link is severed.
