Stifling Dagger

Does not pierce spell immunity. When blocked, the instant-attack does not occur. Slow and Disarm persist if debuff was placed before spell immunity and when not dispelled.
Blocked by Linken's Sphere. Blocked upon impact.
Modifiers
Buff Stiflingdagger Caster: Dispellable with death only.
Debuff Stiflingdagger: Dispellable with any dispel.
The first skill learned by the Sisters of the Veil often signals an incoming hit.

Notes:

  • Gives ground vision of the target for 4 seconds; vision radius of 1400/800
  • When Stifling Dagger hits its target, a regular 0 damage attack from Phantom Assassin is executed on the target.
    • This attack does not interrupt Phantom Assassin in any way and does not put her attack on cooldown. It cannot miss to evasion or blindness either.
    • This attack applies any attack modifier she has on the target, following their regular stacking rules, except for critical strike, cleave, quell and lifesteal.
    • Chance based effects user their own proc chance and are not guaranteed to proc.
    • It can also proc anything which reacts on attacks hitting, like Counter Helix, Reactive Armor and Return.
    • However, it cannot proc effects which react when an attack begins, rather than hits, like Craggy Exterior and Moment of Courage.
    • It also does not break Tranquil Boots (Active) icon.png Tranquil Boots', neither on Phantom Assassin, nor on the target.


Phantom Strike

Teleports to a unit, friendly or enemy, slashing every enemy on the way once, and granting bonus attack speed. Can be cast on towers, structures and magic immune enemies.

Modifiers
Buff Phantom Strike: Dispellable with death only.
Mortred's silken veil is the last thing her unfortunate target sees.

Notes:

  • Phantom Strike can be cast on allied units, gaining the attack speed bonus.
  • Moves Phantom Assassin behind to the target, opposite of the position she was when the spell was cast.
  • The attack speed bonus remains regardless of which target is attacked during the 3 seconds.
  • All enemy units in between Phantom Assassin and her target (excluding towers) are hit with 1 regular attack which does not apply any attack modifiers.

Can be used by illusions. Disabled by Break. Partially pierces spell immunity.

Phantom Assassin focuses inward, increasing her ability to evade enemy attacks, and allowing her to blur her body to disappear from the enemy team's minimap. Immaterial Girl: Every time Mortred is hit by a hero, she becomes less solid, gaining increased evasion and move speed.

Partially pierces spell immunity. Detects spell immune heroes only when they gained spell immunity while already within the detection range. Already spell immune heroes entering the radius are not detected.
Modifiers
Buff Blur Active: Dispellable with death only.
Meditation allows a Veiled Sister to carefully anticipate her opponents in combat.

Notes:

  • Phantom Assassin's hero icon will never show on the minimap of enemy heroes once the skill is learned.
  • The Immaterial buff can stack infinitely, with diminishing returns.
  • The whole stack duration is refreshed whenever Mortred gets hit by a hero.

Phantom Assassin refines her combat abilities, gaining a chance of delivering a devastating critical strike to enemy units. Stifling Dagger shares the same critical strike chance. Dance of Death: Critical chance increases based on the number of enemies hit during Phantom Strike.

Scepter Instant Kill Chance: 2%
Aghanim's upgrade: Adds a 2% chance to instantly kill any target hit by Phantom Strike, Stifling Dagger or Mortred's regular attacks. Ignores death prevention effects.
Can be used by illusions. Red critical numbers are before illusion and armor reduction.
A divine strike, Mortred honors her opponent by choosing them for death.

Notes:

  • Each unit between Phantom Assassin and the target of Phantom Strike adds a Dance of Death stack, including the target itself.
  • Dance of Death can stack up to 100% critical chance.
  • When an enemy hero succumbs to instant death, a special sound effect is played and a Fatality! appears on the bottom of the screen for all players.
