What the pre-game host options menu looks like

The minimap is different in Dota IMBA and it is slightly darker in appearance. However, this does not affect the actual terrain as it maintains the same functionality as regular Dota 2.

imba_standard[edit]

The default map. IMBA is balanced around the standard map. You'll get all your powerful skills and items, but without any exceedingly crazy options.

Game mode: All Pick or All Random

Gold and Experience rates: 130 - 200%

Level cap: 25 / 35

imba_random_omg[edit]

Very similar to standard, but played on the Random OMG game mode.

Game mode: Random OMG (random heroes)

Gold and Experience rates: 130 - 250%

Level cap: 25 - 35

Respawn time: normal or halved

Buyback cost: normal or halved

imba_10v10[edit]

Allows up to 20 players to square off in a 10 versus 10 match. More options are allowed, making the game even more chaotic.

Modes: All Pick or All Random

Gold and Experience rates: 130 - 250%

Initial level: 1 - 5

Initial gold: 625 - 2,000

Maximum hero level: 25 - 50

Game objective: ancients destroyed, or 40-100 kills

Creep upgrade speed: x1 - x2

Respawn timer: normal or halved

Buyback cost: normal or doubled

imba_custom[edit]

This map is free for you to do anything. All options are available!

Modes: All Pick or All Random

Gold and Experience rates: 130 - 400%

Initial level: 1 - 25

Initial gold: 625 - 20,000

Maximum hero level: 25 - 100

Game objective: ancients destroyed, or 20 - 100 kills

Creep upgrade speed: x1 - x4

Respawn timer: normal, halved, or instant

Buyback cost: normal, doubled, or infinite (disabled buyback)

Frantic mode: optional, reduces all cooldowns and mana costs by a factor of 3
