Modifiers
Debuff Frostnova Slow: Dispellable with any dispel.
Debuff Frost Aura: Dispellable with death only.
The frostmage Ethreain's undead body is tainted by extreme cold. Enemies who come too close quickly regret it, as their minds and bodies are eroded, summer and warmth merely distant memories.

Notes:

  • Additional properties that could not fit into spell description:
    • Frost Aura Radius is 700
    • Target Damage is 0/70/140/210
    • Frost Aura's Base Slow is 10%
  • Ice Blast triggered by Frost Aura only applies Area Damage and not Target Damage.
  • Ice Blast cast on an enemy unit applies Area Damage to units in the radius of the blast as well as Target Damage to the primary target.
  • Movement slow from aura does not decrease movement speed below 100.
  • Slow from Frost Aura lingers 2 seconds.

Buff Frost Armor Autocast: Dispellable with death only.
Debuff Frostarmor Slow: Dispellable with any dispel.
Originally crafted during his ambush for self-defense, the Lich is capable of enchanting others with a formidable defense of frost magic.

Chain Frost

Travel Speed Loss per Bounce: 10
Minimum Travel Speed: 400
Cooldown: 145/115/60
Mana: 200/325/450
Aghanim's upgrade: Dramatically increases maximum bounce range, while also increasing damage and orb's speed.
Partially pierces spell immunity. Can target, mini-stun and bounce to spell immune enemies. Does not slow or attempt to damage spell immune enemies. Slow persists if debuff was placed before spell immunity and when not dispelled.
Partially blocked by Linken's Sphere. Can only block either initial mini-stun, or first impact when primary target.
Modifiers
Debuff Chainfrost Slow: Dispellable with any dispel.
Debuff Stunned: Dispellable with strong dispels.
Almost universally considered the ultimate in frost magic, Ethreain's orb of frozen death strikes fear into those who dare stand against him.

Notes:

  • Chain Frost's projectile becomes slower as it bounces, losing momentum each time.
  • Chain Frost stops bouncing when it enters the enemy Fountain area.
