Shuriken Toss

Hurls a deadly shuriken at an enemy unit, dealing damage, mini-stunning and chaining the target to the ground. The shuriken will bounce between any Tracked units who are within a 3000 radius of each other.

Does not pierce spell immunity. Also stops the shuriken from bouncing when hitting a spell immune unit.
Blocked by Linken's Sphere. Blocked upon impact as primary or secondary target. When blocked, it stops jumping.
Can be disjointed. When disjointed, it will stop bouncing.
Debuff Stunned: Dispellable with strong dispels.
While the shuriken may be small, Gondar's precise aim can cause critical damage.


  • The shuriken travels at a speed of 1000.
  • The initial target does not have to be Tracked for the shuriken to bounce.
  • Can only bounce to each unit once.
  • The mini-stun lasts for 0.1 seconds.

  • When off cooldown , Bounty Hunter's weapons will emit an orange glow.

Shadow Walk

Bounty Hunter becomes invisible and gains bonus movement speed and the ability to move through other units until he attacks or uses an ability. If he breaks the invisibility with an attack, that attack will deal bonus damage. Casting Track will not break invisibility.

The court jesters present during King Goff's assassination can recount no other image than a dancing shadow.


  • Does not interrupt Bounty Hunter's channeling spells upon cast.
  • The bonus damage is not added to Bounty Hunter's attack damage. This means that its damage is unaffected by e.g. Jinada, Enfeeble or Empower.
    • This also means that Bounty Hunter can't lifesteal off of it and the damage can't crit or cleave.
  • During the fade time, Bounty Hunter can cast spells, use items and perform attacks without breaking the invisibility.
    • Those attacks will apply the Shadow Walk damage.
  • Invisibility is broken upon reaching the cast point of spells or items, or upon landing an attack. Missed attacks will not break it.
  • Shadow Walk allows Bounty Hunter to pass through other units, including wards, but not through buildings.
  • Bounty Hunter can pick up, drop or attack items without breaking the invisibility.

Shadow Jaunt
Blocked by Linken's Sphere. Does not pierce spell immunity.

Jumps to the tracked target's position and immediately strikes. Refreshes Jinada before attacking.

You can run, but you can't hide.


  • Using Shadow Jaunt issues an attack command after jumping to the targets location.
  • When cast on a target not affected by Track, the cast animation plays but Bounty Hunter does not jaunt. The skill does not go into cooldown.

Tracks an enemy hero, giving True Sight of it and grants a gain in movement speed to allies near the hunted. If the target dies, Bounty Hunter and nearby heroes collect a bounty in gold. Higher level targets are more dangerous, and worth a higher bounty.

Aghanim's upgrade: Track cannot be purged and the debuff is now invisible to the enemies. On a successful kill, steals part of the target's unreliable gold and distributes it equally to all nearby allies.
Can be used by illusions. Illusions gain the move speed bonus.
Buff Track Effect: Undispellable.
Debuff Track: Dispellable with any dispel.
Debuff Track Scepter: Undispellable.
Using his elevated senses of sight and smell, Gondar's hits have quite a good chance of success.


  • Despite the visual effect, the Track debuff is applied instantly on the target.
  • Grants the gold to Bounty Hunter and his allies around the target when the target dies, no matter how it dies.
  • Track can be cast on illusions, but dying illusions will not grant any gold.
  • The move speed is provided by an aura on the target. Its buff lingers for 0.5 seconds. Multiple instances of the aura do not stack.
  • The visual effects and sound of Track are only visible and audible to Bounty Hunter and his allies. However, the debuff is visible to everyone except when Bounty Hunter has Aghanim's Scepter.
  • The visual effects on allies given by the move speed buff are visible to everyone as well.
