Disarm is a type of status effect that prevents the afflicted unit from attacking, although they can still cast spells.

If a disarmed unit is ordered to attack, they will attempt to stay within attack range of their target but will be unable to act. After the disarm's duration is over, they will resume attacking normally.

Besides the listed abilities, all sources of ethereal and hex disarm affected units.

    Disarms the attacked target.
  • Flaming Lasso icon.png
    Duration: 3/3.5/4
    Disarms the caster until the lasso ends or breaks.
  • Hookshot icon.png
    Duration: Pull duration, maximum 0.5
    Disarms the caster until the pull ends or is interrupted.
  • Frostbite icon.png
    Hero Duration: 1.5/2/2.5/3 (Talent 3/3.5/4/4.5)
    Non-Hero Duration: 10 (Talent 11.5)
    Disarms the target.
  • Rolling Boulder icon.png
    Duration: 1.6
    Disarms the caster until the rolling ends or is interrupted.
  • Heaven's Halberd icon.png
    Duration on Ranged Targets: 5
    Duration on Melee Targets: 3
    Disarms the target for a duration based on whether it is a melee or ranged unit.
  • Inner Fire icon.png
    Duration: 1.75/2.5/3.25/4
    Disarms all hit enemies.
  • Life Break icon.png
    Max Duration: 5
    Disarms the caster until the leap ends or is interrupted, or for up to 5 seconds, whichever is shorter.
  • Deafening Blast icon.png
    Duration: 1.25/2/2.75/3.5/4.25/5/5.75 (Upgradable by Aghanim's Scepter. /6.5)
    Disarms all hit units after the knockback.
  • Summon Spirit Bear icon.png
    Attack Proximity Range: 1100 (Upgradable by Aghanim's Scepter. Global)
    Disarms the Spirit Bear When it is 1100 range away from Lone Druid.
  • Tree Dance icon.png
    Duration: 1.4
    Disarms the caster while the ability is on cooldown while on a tree.
  • Burrow icon.png
    Duration: Until unburrowing or using Vendetta
    Disarms the caster until unborrowed.
  • Fate's Edict icon.png
    Duration: 3/3.5/4/4.5
    Disarms the target. Can target allies and enemies.
  • Lucky Shot icon.png
    Proc Chance: 17%
    Duration: 2/3/4/5
    Chance to disarm enemies.
  • Sun Ray icon.png

    Disarms the caster until the ray ends or is interrupted.
