Enemies
Your attacks reduce the target's armor by 7 for 15 seconds.
Armor Reduction: 7
Duration: 15
Modifiers
Debuff Desolator Buff: Dispellable with any dispel.

Notes:

  • Successive attacks with Desolator do not stack the debuff, but refresh the duration instead.
  • The target's armor is reduced before the attack damage is dealt, but still relies on the attack not to miss.
  • Works against every unit, including wards, buildings and allied units.
  • Replaces the projectile particle of ranged heroes with a red projectile.

Tips[edit]

  • Corruption works against buildings, making it a great pushing tool. Split-pushing heroes can benefit a lot from it, allowing them to take towers down much quicker.
  • The Corruption debuff lasts quite long, so sometimes it is better to get the debuff on multiple enemies, instead of focusing only one target in team fights.
  • This item works well in combination with critical strike items and abilities, such as Mortal Strike icon.png Mortal Strike and Daedalus icon.png Daedalus.
