Bash is a passive ability that gives a unit a chance to stun its target on attack. Most bashes also include some extra damage upon proc. This damage is usually directly added to the attacking unit's attack damage. If it is directly added to the attack damage, the unit can lifesteal off of it and it is affected by attack damage reduction. However, it cannot crit or cleave and is not affected by attack damage increasing effects, damage block or (in case of magical damage) magical damage barriers. Illusions cannot bash.
Multiple sources of bash do not stack. Heroes with a bash ability can purchase items which provide a bash but are restricted from proccing it.

Average Damage Increase: 2.38%/3.4%/4.42%/5.44% ( 4.42%/5.44%/6.46%/7.48% when the damage increasing talent is chosen, 5.18%/7.4%/9.62%/11.84% when the proc chance increasing talent is chosen, 9.62%/11.84%/14.06%/16.28% when both talents are chosen.)
Stun Duration: 0.9/1.2/1.5/1.8
Damage is based on Spirit Breaker's movement speed. Deals damage in a separate instance. Pierces spell immunity. Deals Magical damage.
The following abilities involve a bash mechanic, although they are not triggered as a chance on attack.
- Duration: 0.6 ( 1.75)
Attacks with a guaranteed bash when used. Does not pierce spell immunity. Accompanied by damage over time.
