Increases attack damage against non-hero units, based on whether the equipped hero is ranged or melee.
Attack Damage Bonus (Melee): 24
Attack Damage Bonus (Ranged): 7
- Stacks with the Quell of Iron Talon and Battle Fury, but not with additional Quelling Blades.
- The bonus damage does not apply when attacking friendly units (i.e. denying own creeps).
- When the owner's attack type changes to ranged or melee, the attack damage bonus adapts immediately.
- Kunkka doesn't benefit from quell when he doesn't have Tidebringer learned.
- Quell fully works with crits, cleaves and lifesteal. When having cleave, attacking a creep cleaves the increased damage in the area.
- However, if the unit has Tidebringer, the attack which procs it is not increased by Quell.
- When Tidebringer is on cooldown, the attack will be increased by Quell.
- Elder Dragon Form's splash also splashes the increased damage when attacking a creep.
- The damage Lua error in Module:Ability_ID at line 61: Could not find Cargo data for "Moon Glaive". bounces are not increased, since they are based on the attacker's attack damage value.
- Psi Blades will spread the increased damage when attacking a creep.
- Does not work against wards, buildings, Lone Druid's Spirit Bear and allied units.
Recommended heroes
- Quelling Blade is usually purchased by melee carries who need to ensure that they can get last hits in lane.
