The Dragonclaw Hook is notable for its Immortal rarity, often fetching high prices on the Steam Community Market. It could originally be obtained in Mythical rarity from opening a Sithil's Summer Stash, and was highly sought after because it was the first cosmetic item for Pudge. Speculators stockpiled it after the event ended, and its value continued to increase. In late February 2013, Dragonclaw Hooks were briefly made droppable; after an outcry from traders, they were quickly removed from the drop list and changed to Immortal rarity.
The Dragonclaw Hook has a different, white chain animation.
