Ng "YamateH" Wei Poong is a Malaysian DotA superstar currently playing for Team icon White Fries Gaming.png White Fries Gaming.

Professional Career[edit | edit source]

Kingsurf[edit | edit source]

YamateH first appeared on the DotA scene in 2007 during MYM Prime Defending #8, when Kingsurf surprisingly defeated the then invincible SK Gaming 2-0. In one of the games YamateH played Lina, earning 3 triple kills and 1 ultra kill. In the other games, YamateH killed Loda's Zeus in a few hits with his Shadow Fiend. In the same year's SMM, Kingsurf dominated with a near perfect display of skill and unique strategies. In 2008's MYM Prime Defending #8, YamateH defeated MYM using Harbinger and shot to fame. Then later, YamateH reached the pinnacle of his E-sports careers after clinching 2nd place at the inaugural ESWC DotA tournament in San Jose, California.

Due to the merging of the late Zenith and Ks, Yamateh has dramatically changed his role from main carry to ganker. In SMM 2009, Kingsurf was beaten to the losers bracket and dearly lost to the 2009 led FTD, where ZSMJ's Phantom Lancer managed to refarm a Sacred Relic after having one destroyed.

Nirvana.my[edit | edit source]

In 2010, due to frequent inactivity of the Kingsurf team, new DotA powerhouse MUFC has persuaded YamateH to merge with them. However, barely a month after the formation, YameteH have mysteriously decided to put a premature end to their merger. Yamateh and Ice to headed to Nirvana instead. Nirvana's disappointing 6th Place performance in the SMM has led to many discussing the team's future.

Scythe[edit | edit source]

In 2011, YamateH left Nirvana.my due to some internal issues in the team. However, He along with hyhy will team up with Roy, Art and Sharky to form the new Scythe.SG and won the ADC while placing 2nd in the IPDC afterwards. Afterwards, financial instability of Scythe has led to YamateH abrupt departure.

MSPR[edit | edit source]

Right at the conclusion of The International, YamateH was invited to join the brand new team of MeetYourMakers, but hasn't played a single official game with them. Instead, YamateH was found participating in MGT with MSPR, and was picked up by Typhon Esports prior to SMM 2011, where the team placed 5th.

Neolution Orange[edit | edit source]

YamateH then joined Orange just before the Malaysia Invitational and won the tournament after a 3-2 affair with MiTH-Trust.

Orange announced on its Facebook page that YamateH will be leaving Orange and joining Zenith.
