Someone, please fix Cleave Stacking section. Greater Cleave, Empower and Battle Fury all have the same radius now and the section is broken.

Cleave damage being neither spell nor atk damage?[]

The statement that "Cleave damage is neither spell damage nor attack damage" seems flawed to me.

According to my tests, cleaves/splashes and similar mechanics function fully like spell damage does, except that they cannot be amplified by outgoing spell amp and do not spell lifesteal. They are affected by incoming spell damage modifiers (amplification/reduction) though.

For me it seems that cleave is still spell damage, albeit restricted for balancing reasons.

As a comparison: Luna’s glaives, which got the same restrictions (cannot spell lifesteal, ignores outgoing spell amp) as cleaves, is called spell damage on its wiki page.

So calling it 'neither nor' seems wrong to me. I would call it (restricted) spell damage, since that is what it effectively is, isn’t it? TheZett (talk) 21:12, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
