The Soul Ring is an item purchasable at the Main Shop, under Common.

  • Interupts the user's channeling spells upon cast.
  • If the added 150 mana would exceed the user's current mana pool, its maximum mana pool is temporarily increased by the exceeding amount.
  • At the end of the duration, the user loses any of the unused mana of the 150 mana and its maximum mana pool goes back to normal if it was exceeded.
  • Only counts actually spent mana. Mana lost on other ways (Mana Break icon.png Mana Break, Mana Burn icon.png Mana Burn) does not count.
  • The lost health is not gained back when the gained mana was unused or partly unused.
  • The 150 health lost upon cast is never lethal. When casting with less than 150 health, the user's health goes down to 1.

Recommended heroes[edit]



  • If the player drops a large mana pool item such as Bloodstone icon.png Bloodstone or Scythe of Vyse icon.png Scythe of Vyse before using the Soul Ring, the player will regain a larger percentage of their mana pool. When the player picks the item up again, because mana percentage does not change, the player will effectively regain more mana.
  • Heroes that have a good health pool or can regen hp quickly, such as Omniknight, can spam the active and their abilties often.
  • If your hero has low health or no means of regenerating health, consider picking up Tranquil Boots too in order to refill health after using the active a lot.

    • Stats: +3 HP Regeneration, +50% Mana Regeneration
    • Active: Sacrifice: Upon activation, you sacrifice 150 HP to temporarily gain MP. This action gives you 150 extra mana to use in the next 10 seconds. Any extra mana that isn't used from that bonus is lost after the duration is over. Any mana usage drains from your buffer mana first. Cooldown: 25. Duration: 10.
