Quantic Gaming (Quantic) is an organization formed by its Battlefield players back in 2010, and is one of the fastest rising North American eSport organizations.
History[]
Quantic Gaming decided to enter the Dota 2 scene in February 2012 when they recruited the Danish former roster of SK Gaming, who had been playing under the tag dd.[1] However, the Danish roster later broke ties with Quantic to eventually become the first incarnation of Copenhagen Wolves.
In May 2012, Quantic Gaming announced their new American roster, which included all 5 players of the former ex-GoSu roster.[2] Solara and Lasthitmagic were released from the team after Dreamhack and replaced by Brax and Matrim.
In September 2012, Mikey and Matrim departed from the team and were replaced by 1437 and Universe.
In October 2012, 1437 and Brax left the team to join LGD Gaming's new international squad. The remaining players left Quantic later that month.[3]
In June 2013, Quantic Gaming returned to the Dota 2 scene by picking up dd.[4]
After The International 2013, several changes took place in the team. Funzii retired, Silent left for Team Empire, and Goblak joined Virtus Pro. 7ckngMad and Sockshka also left the team.
