The Necronomicon is an Item purchasable at the Main Shop, under Caster.

The recipe can be purchased multiple times in order to upgrade it.

Additional information[edit | edit source]

The Necronomicon recipe can be purchased up to 3 times in order to increase its power. Each time it's upgraded, the strength and intelligence bonuses increase, as well as the level of the summoned units.

The total gold cost for each level is 2700/3950/5200.

Demonic Summoning

Summons a Warrior and an Archer to fight for you for 40 seconds, whose strength and abilities increase as Necronomicon is upgraded. Warrior gains True Sight at level 3.

Can be dispelled. The summons take purge damage.

Notes:

  • Interupts the user's channeling spells upon cast.
  • The summons are always summoned infront of the caster.
  • All 3 levels of Necronomicon share cooldown.
  • Recasting this with the same Necronomicon replaces the summmons from the previous cast, no matter under whom control they are.
    • However, recasting it with a second Necronomicon creates 2 new summons.

  • The damage is directly added to the warrior's attack damage, so it can lifesteal off of it. However, it still cannot crit or cleave.
  • The damage can be reduced with e.g. Enfeeble icon.png Enfeeble, but it can not be amplified with e.g. Empower icon.png Empower.
  • Applies the mana loss first, and then the damage.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This item is based on the Necronomicon, a fictional grimoire created by horror author H. P. Lovecraft. The summoning ability of the item is similar to the original book's role in summoning the ancient cosmic Old Ones in Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.
