The Battle Fury is an Item purchasable at the Main Shop, under Weapons.

Ability Affects Damage
Passive Enemies Physical
Deals a percent of attack damage in a 280 area around the target. Ranged units cannot Cleave.
Cleave Radius: 280
Cleave Damage: 35%
Cannot be used by illusions. Visual effects and sounds still play when illusions attack.


  • The cleave damages a circular area in front of the owner.
  • As with all cleave, Battle Fury stacks with other Battle Furies, Empower icon.png Empower and cleave abilities of other heroes.
  • When stacking multiple cleaves, each source of cleave deals its own damage instance.
  • Despite the visual effect, damage is applied instantly in the whole area.
  • Ranged units cannot cleave.

Not a Unique Attack Modifier. Not blocked by Spell Immunity. Can be used by illusions.

Gives bonus attack damage against non-hero units, based on whether the equipped hero is ranged or melee.
Attack Damage Bonus (melee): 60%
Attack Damage Bonus (ranged): 25%
Can be used by illusions. The bonus damage is also affected by the illusions' attack damage penalty.


  • Does not stack with the Quell of Quelling Blade icon.png Quelling Blade and other Battle Furies.
  • Only increases base damage and that provided by attributes. Raw damage bonus is not increased.
  • When the owner's attack type changes to ranged or melee, the attack damage bonus adapts immediately.
  • Quell fully works with crits and cleaves. When having cleave, attacking a creep cleaves the increased damage in the area.
    • However, if the unit has Tidebringer icon.png Tidebringer, the attack which procs it is not increased by Quell.
  • Elder Dragon Form icon.png Elder Dragon Form's splash also splashes the increased damage when attacking a creep.
  • The damage Moon Glaive icon.png Moon Glaive bounces are not increased. They still deal damage based on her base damage.
  • Psi Blades icon.png Psi Blades will spread the increased damage when attacking a creep.

  • The cleave benefits from critical hits, including those from items.

  • Battle Fury now requires and provides the bonuses of Quelling Blade
  • Quell bonus is now 60% for melee heroes and 25% for ranged heroes
  • Attack damage reduced from 65 to 55
  • Cleave radius from 250 to 280.


  • Cleave AoE increased from 225 to 250.


  • Changed Battlefury recipe slightly


  • Total cost reduced by 25 (Void Stone cost reduced from 900 to 875)


  • Cleave AOE from 200 to 225


  • Increased Battlefury cleave aoe from 160 to 200, damage from +50 to +65 and a little more HP/Mana regen.
